FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know about Netra's identity security and attack path analysis tools.

General & Licensing

What is Netra?

Netra is a suite of identity security tools designed to expose and close attack paths in Active Directory (on-premise) and Microsoft Entra ID (cloud).

How do the free trials work?

Trials are restricted to one AD Domain/OU or one Entra ID environment. They provide full functional analysis to help you understand your immediate security posture.

Is there a maintenance fee?

License fees include all updates and standard support. Enterprise support plans are available for mission-critical environments.

Technical & Security

Does Netra "phone home" with my data?

Absolutely not. Netra operates with a zero-telemetry policy. All analysis is performed locally on your workstation or server. No identity data leaves your environment.

What permissions are required?

For AD Explorer, standard domain user read permissions are sufficient for most scans. Entra Explorer requires a Global Reader or Security Reader role for comprehensive audits.

Can Netra detect Shadow Admins?

Yes. Our core engine specializes in uncovering "indirect" administrative rights—hidden permissions that can be chained to gain full Tier-0 control.
